The remit of the Front Office Rural Gozo is to assist farmers on various aid assistance schemes under the Rural Development Plan and local funds.
Other functions are the registration of arable land for the purpose of receiving funds under the Agriclaim scheme, requests regarding the Agridec, new water applications etc. This unit liaises with the Agriculture Rural Payment Agency(MAFA) .

- Assistance to farmers on issues related to aid applications, and other queries related to payments.
- Assistance to farmers and the general public in the dissemination of information about measures and schemes under the Rural Development Programme.
- Dissemination of information to the general public issued by the Ministry of Gozo & Planning.
- Organization of courses related to Agriculture and the use of plant protection products in a sustainable way.
