LICENSING AND TESTING OFFICE

The Licensing and Testing Office provides the following services:

Vehicle Services:

– Change of Ownerships requiring Plates.
– Re-Issue of Vehicle Registration Certificates and/or Vehicle Licence Discs.
– Issue of Plates including Lost Plates.
– Scrapping.
– Garaging.
– Payment of Arrears.
– Export.
– Change of Engine/Body Types/Colour.
– Collection of VRT Certificates or Licence renewals.

Driving Licence Services:

– Licence Renewals.
– Category Renewals/Inclusions.
– Driving Licence Alterations – Change of address surname etc.
– International Driving Permits.
– Learner permit deposits/collection.
– Tachographs (deposits/collection).
– Licence revocations (submission or collection).
– Medical Referrals.
– Seat belt exemptions.

Other Services:

– Services relating to Vintage Vehicles.
– Mileage maintenance of Vehicles.
– Inspections of vehicles (once a month).

For the service of change of ownership requiring plates and issuing of plates (including lost plates), these are deposited at the Licensing and Testing Section Gozo and are to be collected within 3 days.
