The Maintenance Directorate is responsible for the maintenance of all public infrastructure for which the Ministry for Gozo and Planning is responsible for. These include the maintenance of all public monuments, roads and ancillary infrastructure and storm water culverts. Furthermore, this Directorate is responsible for the procurement and storage of all general supplies required by the Ministry for the execution of its operations. Moreover, the Maintenance Directorate is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Ministry’s car fleet.

The Sections falling under the remit of this Directorate are:

• Construction and Maintenance Section. 

• Monuments and Fountains Section.

• Electrical Maintenance and Services Section.

• Stores Section.

• Mechanics Section.

• Roads Section.
