The main objective of the Day Centre is to enhance the adult clients’ potential and their quality of life through active participation both at the Centre as well as in the community.

Once an adult with physical, sensory and or learning disabilities is accepted to start attending the Santa Marta Day Centre, an initial Case Conference is organised to draw up a personalised programme with meaningful activities based on the needs, likes and preferences of the person involved. These activities include sessions given by adult educators in papier mache’, pottery and mosaic, animal therapy on a farm in the countryside, swimming sessions at ARKA all year round and in various beaches in summer, cookery sessions, IT sessions in our IT Lab and doing various crafts.  The weekly programme also includes life skills sessions and outings on a regular basis, including outings for personal shopping.

Adults with disability may be referred to Santa Marta Day Centre by their parent/s, legal guardian or any other agency by filling in the online form.
