SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICES (VICTORIA & NADUR AREA)

This Office will be closed to the public on Friday 30th May 2025 due to the DSS Day activity in Malta.

These offices strive to provide correct financial assistance and other benefits to eligible persons in time.
Services Offered include:

– Non-Contributory Benefits such as: Social and Unemployment Assistances, Age Pension, Disability Assistance and Carers’ Allowance.       Further information may be accessed on the following link.

– Family Benefits such as: Children’s Allowance, Energy Benefit and Supplementary Allowance. Further information may be accessed         on the following link.

– Short term Benefits such as: Unemployment Benefit, In Work Benefit and Tapering of Benefits. Further information may be accessed     on the following link.

– Medical Assistance such as: Sickness Assistance, Sickness Benefit and Injury Benefit. Further information may be accessed on the             following link. 

– Pensions: Retirement Pension, Invalidity Pension, Widows’ Pension and Foreign Pensions. Further information may be accessed on         the following link.

These offices also provide its services related to:

– Checking of National Insurance Contributions.
– Submission of applications.
– Queries/complaints as regards Benefits and Pensions.
– Following up on cases/applications.
– Pink Forms.
– National Insurance (N.I.) Numbers.
– Medical certificates booklets.

During opening hours, customers can avail of these services with/without appointment. Customers need an appointment for the completion of Foreign Pension Applications.

Customers must produce their Identity Card to be given personal details.
